This picture, taken from the driveway, shows the daylight before and after the storm. The tornado was rain wrapped, but was somewhere in the dark center. This video is not as great as the ones that you see on TV, but the media helicopter was hovering over our house while we were taking this video. It was a wild night, it ended up being about an hour and a half of going to the storm shelter and coming out between storms to look. There were I think three good storms that passed. No one was hurt in the metro, our bishop's neighborhood lost some houses, but the scary stories were all from southern Oklahoma. For those that have never been in a storm shelter you can see it for a second in the video clip. It is basically a metal hole in the floor of the garage with a sliding metal lid.
It's hard to tell from the video but we could watch the clouds swiling around our house. It was a creepy feeling, even though they were the lighter colored less threatening clouds.

This Oklahoma weather is crazy!!!
I can't wait to see your video...it says it is currently not available. I'll keep trying!!:)
Glad everyone is safe!!
wow that's so scary. Do you take your fav things with you in the shelter or do you have a safe somewhere. I read in the Ensign about a person that lost their wedding ring and then ended up finding it. but it just made me think about all that you could loose.
I would be terrified to live in a place that has those! im glad it went by you and no harm done.
